Indian cemented Total HIp verses Imported
most of the hip fractures and diseases , needund Total hip replacemet , are the diseases of old age, except the cases of aethritis or avascular necrosis of Hip joint.
Hemireplacement arthoplasty is painful in about30% of cases, patients dont feel comfortable even after operation.
Total Hip replacement surgery was seems to be very costly on imported Hip implant.
Now this problem has been solved by Indian makers and total hip implant of equally good quality are available , which make total hip replacement in the reach of common man.
i operated so many cases with Indian make and compared durabilty and acceptence of implant , i found its equally good as the imported one , and rate of complications are same with both of them.
The most hazzardous complication in any of orthopaeic surgery is infection, and it can happen in about .5% cases every where,because of the haematogenous route of unfection,means the hidden foci already lying in the body, can not be detected.
